Popularly known as piles, hemorrhoids are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectum and anus that causes discomfort and bleeding. They are usually caused by straining during bowel movements. They become an issue when they begin to swell causing itching, pain, or bleeding.
SYMPTOMS- The most common symptoms are painless bleeding from the anal region along with anal inching and swelling and feeling a lump at the anus.

PEPTIC ULCER DISEASE (PUD)
PUD occurs on the formation of open sores or ulcers in the stomach or the first part of the small intestine. One of the causes of this disease is a bacterial infection that eats away the protective lining of the digestive system. Another main cause of this disease is the use of NSAIDS, a group of pain-relieving medicines. While PUD has nothing to do with stress and certain kind of food which is generally believed as a common cause by people.
SYMPTOMS- One may suffer from burning pain in the middle or upper stomach between meals or at night or temporary pain while eating or taking an antacid. Heartburn and nausea or vomiting may characterize the acute stage of this disease whereas weight loss, severe pain in the mid to upper abdomen, and dark black stool may represent the severe stage.
