Double chin or chin fat occurs when a layer of fat grows under your skin. Double chin main causes are Obesity as you gain weight your body starts gaining fat on several areas on your body like Thighs, Belly, Chest, Hips & on your Chin. However, it’s not Obesity that becomes the reason for the Double Chin sometimes it’s Genetics & Loose Skin as well.
Causes of Double Chin
As you grow older, our muscles lose their strength, skin loses its elasticity causing a Droopy chin, Sagging jawline and loose skin under the chin called a Turkey neck or Double chin.

Poor Diet & Weight gain is another biggest reason for double chin. People who are not obese but leading an unhealthy lifestyle, having a fatty diet and don’t exercise at all are prone to develop a double chin. Exercises to Strengthen Chin Muscles
1- Chewing A Gum
Chewing a piece of gum not just keeps your mouth fresh but also strengthen your neck muscles as well. So just buy packs of Chewing Gums & keep chewing. Chewing gum is a good workout for your face muscles, especially the jaw & get chiseled jawline.

2- Ball under Chin
Place a tennis ball under your chin & press your chin down pressing against the tennis ball. 20-25 repetitions twice a day.
3- Neck Stretch
Tilt your head back and look at the ceiling. Pull your tongue out completely of your mouth & try to touch your chin. Hold this for 5 to 10 seconds and then release. Do it twice a day.

4- Kiss The Ceiling
While standing, tilt your head back and look toward the ceiling. Pucker your lips and “kiss the ceiling”. Hold the kiss position for five seconds. Relax your lips and return your head to the neutral position. Repeat this 15 times.
5- Do OO-EE
Saying out OO-EE just like how you used to call out someone in your colloquial slang burns up a large number of your chin muscles. You just have to repeat saying OO-EE exaggerating your facial movement. This exercise also targets your muscles between the upper lip and nose, rewarding you the perfect posture.
